The new link road connecting Amberpet directly with Uppal and Ramanthapur is set to open by August 2024. This project will reduce the current travel distance from 8 km to just 3.5 km. Developed jointly by the Hyderabad Road Development Corporation (HRDCL) and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), the project includes a 1 km three lane road by HRDCL and a 2 km two-lane stretch by GHMC’s projects wing. Only 0.5 km of road widening remains, with utility shifting currently in progress.
