Three water purification plants with a new recirculation system at the Bhathagaon filter plant complex in Raipur have been classified as ‘Zero Waste Water’ plants. These include a plant with a capacity of 150 million litres per day (mld) and two plants with 80 mld capacity each. Raipur Municipal Corporation has inspected the newly implemented recirculation system at the Bhathagaon filter plant complex.
This initiative is a part of the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation programme and aligns with the welfare goals of the urban administration of Chhattisgarh and Raipur district.
