The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has instructed the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai to produce two high speed, standard gauge bullet trains with a maximum speed of 250 km per hour (kmph).
These trains will be built on Vande Bharat platform and will have a running speed of 220 kmph. This initiative is part of IR’s production programme for 2024-25.
