The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced the process of securing statutory clearances which include acquiring land from Delhi Development Authority (DDA), Central Public Works Department (CPWD) and the Public Works Department (PWD) along with forest clearances for the construction of two newly approved corridors as part of its Phase IV expansion project.
These new corridors, Lajpat Nagar to Saket G block and Inderlok to Indraprastha will be the extension of the newly constructed golden and green lines, respectively. According to DMRC, these new routes are expected to be operational by 2028.
