Pune IT City Metro Rail Limited (PITCMRL) has announced the arrival of the first train at Hinjawadi’s Mann depot for the upcoming Metro Line 3 corridor. This made in India train was developed and built at the Alstom facility in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh.
PITCMRL has contracted Alstom to supply 22 train sets for Pune Metro Line 3 corridor. Each train set consists of three cars with a total carrying capacity of 1,000 passengers, poised to significantly enhance urban mobility in Pune.
