Bengaluru Metro has witnessed a 3 per cent increase in ridership over the past year.
Metro passengers increased from 16.5 million in January 2023 to 20 million in April 2024, with revenue rising from Rs 391.5 million to Rs 517.1 million during the same period. This reflects an additional 3.5 million passengers per month and Rs 11 million in monthly revenue as compared to 2023.
