In a notable development, Indian Oil Adani Gas Private Limited (IOAGPL) has signed tripartite agreement with Reliance Bio Energy Limited (RBEL) and GAIL (India) Limited for compressed bio-gas (CBG) blending in city gas distribution (CGD) network under the CBG-CGD Synchronisation Scheme.
CBG -CGD Synchronisation Scheme is being considered as a great enabler for sustained growth of both sectors. It aims to ensure financial viability in the long run while ensuring India’s energy independence.
IOAGPL is a joint venture company of Indian Oil Corporation Limited– a Maharatna Company of Government of India and Adani Gas Limited. This development will help the company in fostering its portfolio in the clean energy space and fulfill Government’s vision towards the creation of CBG eco-system.
