Bengaluru Metro Rail embarks on green initiative

Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited is embarking on a green initiative in response to the ecological impact of the Namma Metro Phase 2 expansion. This initiative involves planting 15,000 saplings at an investment of about Rs 769 million.

The initiative will commence in Dabus Town, where around 5,000 saplings will be planted. Subsequently, the project will expand to Doddaballapur’s Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board lands, focusing particularly on the 2nd, 12th, and 13th garden and buffer zones.
