HES Infra Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1.29 billion for construction of the utility corridor between Gopalpur port and TATA Steel Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Bids for the same were invited by Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation in May 2023. The work is expected to be completed in 18 months. The project involves development of a 3 km long and 60 m wide utility corridor between Gopalpur port and Tata Steel Industrial Park in Ganjam district of Odisha to provide logistics facilities for existing and upcoming industries.
