GSPCB revises standards for water discharged by STPs

The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) has revised the standards for water discharged by sewage treatment plants (STP) as per the parameters set by the National Green Tribunal (NGT). Reportedly, many water bodies are getting polluted due to this discharged water from functional and non-functional STPs. Additionally, GSPCB will ensure uniform standards for all STPs including plants with less than 150 kld capacity.
