Mumbai airport witnesses 16 per cent annual increase in footfall  during FY2024

The Mumbai airport recorded a 16 per cent year-on-year increase in passenger traffic to 52.8 million in FY24, from 43.9 million in FY23. The total footfall includes 26 million arriving passengers and 26.7 million departing passengers. Both international and domestic passenger traffic witnessed a rise. Air traffic movements recorded a 12 per cent growth from 290,387 in FY23 to 324,972 in FY24. During the period, the number of bags processed also witnessed a 31 per cent year-on-year growth.
