The commercial operations on High Court – Fort Kochi stretch under the Kochi Water Metro Project has commenced. The project involves development of an integrated water transport system, covering 78 km on 15 routes in Kochi in the state of Kerala. It is partially being funded by the KfW Development Bank through a loan assistance and the remaining cost is being funded by the state government. The estimated cost of the entire project is Rs 11.36 billion.
