BPCL and NIA sign agreement for ATF pipeline

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has signed an agreement with the Noida International Airport (NIA) for the laying of a dedicated aviation turbine fuel (ATF) pipeline to the tank farm at the airport from the Piyala terminal at Faridabad. The pipeline would be more than 34 km long and would extend 1.2 km within the premises of the airport. The common-use fuel transportation pipeline would ensure seamless transportation of fuel to the airport, eliminating the need for tank lorry movements. It also aligns with the airport’s vision of offering cost-efficient and sustainable solutions that are more economical for transporting liquid fuels in comparison to road transport.
