Around 75 per cent of work completed for Halwara airport

Around 75 per cent of the work at the Halwara International Airport has been completed. The project is targeted to be completed by May 2024. 90 per cent of the work on the apron has been finished, and the taxiway has witnessed around 55-60 per cent completion. Further, up to 98 per cent of the work on the terminal building has been completed. Works are also underway for the widening of the taxiway by 200 meters near the runway. Further, a trolley gate is being set up to connect the airport complex with the air force station area. Works on boundary roads and footpath-related works are among the other tasks to be completed.
