The proposed greenfield airport at Doloo, Assam is likely to face delays owing to the Supreme Court’s (SC) decision to halt further development. This follows concerns relating to the environmental impact assessment report. The project involves the development of a greenfield airport on the plantation land of the Doloo Tea Estate in Barak Valley in Cachar district of Assam under the Ude Desh Ka Aam Nagrik (UDAN) scheme.
