CSL enters into a MRSA with US Navy

Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has become the third Indian shipyard to enter into a Master Shipyard Repair Agreement (MRSA) with the United States (US). The MSRA is a non-financial agreement and is effective from April 5, 2024. This agreement will facilitate repair of US naval vessels under military sealift command in CSL. The other two shipbuilding facilities are Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL). Situated in Kattupalli near Chennai, L&T shipyard has so far repaired three US Navy fleet support ships. Besides, a United Kingdom naval ship arrived for the first time at Kattupalli for repairs in March 2024
