Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) handled 420 mmt cargo during FY24, an increase of 24 per cent YoY. Of the total cargo, over 408 mmt cargo was handled by APSEZ’s domestic ports. APSEZ’s flagship port, Mundra handled 180 mmt during the period. Moreover, the ports at Mundra, Hazira, Kattupalli and Ennore handled record container volumes. Meanwhile, in the dry cargo segment, Tuna, Mormugao, Karaikal, Krishnapatnam, Gangavaram, and Dhamra port handled record volumes during FY24. Mundra Port handled 1.9 million TEUs of container volumes by rail, about 12 per cent growth over the previous year. Around 44 per cent of the containerised seaborne cargo in India moves through APSEZ ports.
