National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed 153 km of viaduct installation work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor project. Besides, piers have been constructed over a stretch of 295.5 km. Furthermore, NHSRCL has identified 14 locations in Gujarat and Maharashtra for the installation of anemometers to monitor wind speed. These locations are: Desai Khadi, Ulhas river, Bangala Pada, Vaitarna river, in Dahanu suburb, Daman Ganga river, Par River, in Navsari suburb, Tapi river, Narmada river, in mid-section of Bharuch-Vadodara, Mahi river, Bareja and Sabarmati river.
