Tamil Nadu’s Department of Industries, Investment Promotion and Commerce has issued a preliminary notification for land acquisition for the Chennai (Parandur) greenfield airport project. The project involves the development of a new greenfield airport with two runways, terminal buildings, taxiways, apron and a cargo terminal at Parandur in Tamil Nadu. This will entail an estimated cost of Rs 200 billion.
