The central government laid the foundation stone for the HUDA City Centre-Cyber City Metro Rail Project on February 16, 2024. The project involves the development of a 28.5 km long metro route in Gurugram, Haryana. It will be implemented by Gurugram Metro Rail Limited at an estimated cost of Rs 54.52 billion. It will connect Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase V and merge with the Rapid Metro Rail, Gurugram, at the Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. It will also have a spur at the Dwarka Expressway.
