South Central Railway (SCR) has commissioned the 19-km long Rechini Road-Asifabad section of the Ballarshah-Kazipet third line project. With this, work on a total of 151 km has been completed under the project. The project involves tripling of a 201.04 km long rail line from Balharshah to Kazipet excluding the 33.42 km long Mandamarri-Raghavapuram section in Maharashtra and Telangana, respectively with an investment of Rs 29.09 billion.
