Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has recorded unloading of 1,238 units of freight carrying rakes in February 2024, which is 7.8 per cent higher than the corresponding period last year. During 2023-24 (till February 2024), a total of 12,750 of freight rakes were unloaded. State-wise, the zone registered unloading of 725 freight trains in Assam, 79 in Tripura, 9 in Mizoram, 19 in Nagaland, 2 in Manipur, 7 in Arunachal Pradesh, 223 in West Bengal and 174 in Bihar.
