MoPSW and IIM Shillong sign MoU to set up Gati Shakti Research Chair

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong, have signed an MoU to set up the country’s first “Gati Shakti Research Chair”. It will lead high quality academic research on multimodal logistics, with a focus on the Northeast region. It also aims to foster collaboration with global experts in creating and developing knowledge and expertise, while also strengthening the links between multimodal logistics research and capacity-building activities with key stakeholders.
