The central government has flagged off the first crude oil tanker, Swarna Sindhu, from the Cluster II fields of the KG-DWN-98/2 (KG-D5) block. The tanker will transport crude oil from the deep waters of the Bay of Bengal to Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited.
