Centre launches 10 new Vande Bharat trains on various routes

The Union Government has launched 10 new Vande Bharat trains on various routes. These include Lucknow-Dehradun, New Jalpaiguri-Patna, Patna-Lucknow, Puri-Visakhapatnam, Kalaburagi-Bengaluru, Mysuru-Chennai, Khajuraho-Delhi, Ahmedabad-Mumbai, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam and Ranchi-Varanasi. Further, the extension of four existing Vande Bharat service will be done which includes Ajmer-Delhi extended to Chandigarh, Gorahpur-Lucknow extended to Prayagraj, Ahmedabad-Jamnagar extended to Dwarka and Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod extended till Mangaluru. Besides, carbody structure of Vande Bharat sleeper transit was also launched which is being built by BEML. The first prototype of this train will have total 11 coaches of AC 3-tier, 4 coaches of AC 2-tier and 1 coach of AC 1-tier.
