Edelweiss Alternatives raises Rs 80 billion for Infrastructure Yield Plus II (IYP II)

Edelweiss Infrastructure Yield Plus II has raised about Rs 80 billion (about $967 million) for the alternative investment fund (AIF), from limited partners (LPs) including global pension funds, domestic and offshore institutions, family office and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs). The fund seeks to invest in assets that are financially stable with a sound legal and regulatory framework and has a long residual life or concession period with credible counterparties. The fund also looks to enhance the value of these assets through an active asset management approach.
