Centre inaugurates Bansapani – Daitari – Tomka – Jakhapura rail section

The Union Government inaugurated the Bansapani – Daitari – Tomka – Jakhapura rail section on March 5, 2024. The project involved doubling of a 180 km long existing rail line between Banspani and Jakhapura via Daitari and Tomka in Odisha at a sanctioned cost of Rs 18.26 billion.
