Recently, the Halida- Barauni section, spanning about 512 km of the Paradip- Haldia- Barauni crude oil pipeline expansion, was inaugurated by the union government. It entailed an investment of Rs 27.9 billion. Besides, the Kharagpur LPG bottling plant was also inaugurated. IOCL developed a new LPG bottling plant with bottling capacity of 120 thousand tonnes per annum in West Medinipur district of West Bengal entailing an investment of over Rs 2 billion. Additionally, the Paradip- Hyderabad product pipeline was also inaugurated. The pipeline having 4.5 mtpa capacity entailed an investment of Rs 33.28 billion.
