Alstom launches LEAP program for sustainable urban mobility in Bengaluru

Alstom has recently initiated the low emission access to public transport (LEAP) program as part of its corporate social responsibility. It aims to boost last-mile connectivity and encouraging greater public transport usage. The pilot phase features MetroRide deploying electric autorickshaws for last-mile connectivity at Yelachenahalli and Indiranagar stations in Bengaluru’s Namma Metro. Commuters can conveniently book rides through the MetroRide app, marking a significant step toward sustainable and accessible public transportation.
