MoPSW and IIM Shillong signs MoU to set up Gati Shakti Research Chair

On February 23, 2024, the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (MoPSW) and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Shillong signed a memorandum of understanding to set up country’s first ‘Gati Shakti Research Chair’. It will lead high-quality academic research on multimodal logistics with a focus on the North-East region. It also aims to foster collaboration with global experts in creating and developing knowledge and expertise, while strengthening the links between the multimodal logistics research and capacity-building activities with key stakeholders.
