The central government has inaugurated various road projects in several states.
Projects inaugurated in Odisha include Rimuli-Koida Stretch of Rimuli-Koida-Rajamunda Four Laning Road Project (NH-520), Birmitrapur-Brahmani Bypass stretch, Brahmani Bypass End-Rajamunda stretch of Birmitrapur-Barkote Four-Two Laning Road Project (NH-143), Baharagora-Singhara Four Laning Road Project (NH-6) and Chandikhole-Bhadrak Six Laning Road Project (NH-16) [Package I]. The projects inaugurated in Assam include Biswanath Chariali Bypass end-Gohpur Four Laning Road Project (NH-15) and Dolabari-Jamuguri Four Laning Road Project (NH-37A and NH-52). Additionally, projects inaugurated in Rajasthan include Beawar-Gomti Four Laning Highway Project Package II (NH-8) and Ras-Beawar-Asind-Mandal Two/Four Laning Road Project (NH-158) (GNHCP) (Package II, III). In Maharashtra, the Centre inaugurated Nagpur Four Lane Stand Alone Ring Road/Bypass Project (Package I) at a cost of Rs 8,567.4 million and Lameri-Karanprayag-Paini Two Laning Road Project (NH-7) Package I was inaugurated in Uttarakhand.
