The Union Government inaugurated the Phase II of the new terminal building at Dehradun Airport on February 14, 2024. The project involved the construction of a new terminal building and allied works at the Dehradun Airport in Uttarakhand. It has been implemented in two phases, with Phase I (operational) spread over 28,729 sq. m whereas Phase II is over 14,047 sq m. It was implemented by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) at an investment of Rs 4.86 billion.
