MoRTH proposes Rs 35.70 billion plan for enhanced Ayodhya connectivity

MoRTH has presented a proposal to the central government seeking special approval for a greenfield bypass project in Ayodhya and its neighbouring areas. Valued at Rs 35.7 billion, the 68 km bypass project aims to improve connectivity and address the anticipated surge in traffic following the inauguration of the Ram Temple. NHAI has initiated the bidding process for the four/six-lane highway, divided into the North Ayodhya and South Ayodhya bypasses, traversing the Lucknow, Basti and Gonda districts.
