MGL, Baidyanath LNG forms JV for development of LNG network

In a notable development, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) and Baidyanath LNG Private Limited have formed a joint venture (JV), Mahanagar LNG Private Limited, for the development of an LNG network across the country. Under Phase I, the JV plans to establish six LNG stations in Maharashtra, which will be further expanded pan-India.
ONGC has received approval from the MoPNG for the formation of a wholly- owned subsidiary for clean energy projects and gas business. The proposed company, ONGC Green Limited, will focus on various aspects of the energy business, including green hydrogen, hydrogen blending, renewable energy, biogas and LNG within its value chains.
