Government pegs Rs 1.2 trillion non-tax revenue collection from communications sector under interim budget 2024

As per the interim budget released by the government, non-tax revenue collection from the communications sector has been estimated at about Rs 1.2 trillion for 2024-25. The government has revised the revenue estimate from other communication services for the current fiscal to Rs 935.41 billion from the previous budget’s projection of
Rs 894.69 billion.
