DPR completed for Sarjapura-Hebbala corridor of Bengaluru Metro Rail Project – Phase III

The detailed project report (DPR) for the Sarjapura-Hebbala (Corridor III) corridor of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project – Phase III has been completed. The corridor is likely to cost Rs 165.43 billion. About 115 acres of land is required for the corridor. A total of 28 stations are planned for this project. It involves the construction of three corridors Corridor I, the 32.15 km long JP Nagar Phase IV-Kempapura stretch with 22 stations; Corridor II, the 12.5 km long Hosahalli-Kadabgere stretch on Magadi Road with nine stations; and Corridor III, the 37 km long Sarjapura-Hebbala stretch through Agara, Koramangala and the Dairy Circle in Karnataka.
