Centre allocates funds to MoPNG under Union Budget 2024-25

The central government has allocated funds worth Rs 297.13 billion to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) under the Union Budget 2024-25. Of the total allocation, funds worth Rs 622.4 million have been earmarked for “Establishment Expenditure of the Centre”, Rs 6.28 billion for “Strategic Oil Reserves”, Rs 1.17 billion for “Refinery and Conservation”, Rs 119.25 billion for “Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Subsidy”, Rs 10 billion for the “Programme Component” of Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited, Rs 2.75 billion for the “Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project” and Rs 1.68 billion for “Autonomous Bodies”.
