The Asian Development Bank has allocated financial assistance amounting to Rs 13.74 billion for the Imphal Ring Road Project in Manipur. The foundation stone for this project, worth Rs 17.66 billion which commenced in 2015-16 and received official sanction in 2020, has been laid. Spanning a length of 51.23 km, the project primarily aims to address traffic congestion and mitigate pollution in Imphal West district.
