The NHAI has achieved a significant milestone with its asset monetisation program surpassing Rs 1 trillion.
The latest accomplishment includes raising a record concession value of Rs 156.24 billion through ‘InvIT Round-3’, monetising 10 stretches spanning approximately 890 km across Assam, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
The monetised value is expected to be realised by March 2024. Notably, NHAI’s overall asset monetisation program has surpassed Rs 1 trillion, comprising Rs 423.34 billion through toll-operate-transfer (TOT), Rs 261.25 billion through InvIT, and Rs 420 billion through securitisation. The monetised sections in InvIT Round-3 include various stretches such as Chichira-Kharagpur, Orai-Bara, Rewa-Katni-Jabalpur-Lakhnadon, among others.
