Trial run commences on Civil Court-Swargate stretch of Pune Metro

Trial run on underground Civil Court-Swargate stretch of the Pune Metro Rail Project – Phase I commenced on February 5, 2024. Overall, 98 per cent of work has been completed on the project. The project involves development of a 31.25 km long metro rail network in Pune in the state of Maharashtra. It comprises of two corridors; Pimpri-Chinchwad (Nigdi)-Swargate via Agriculture college (16.59 km, Corridor 1) and Vanaz-Ramwadi via Deccan gymkhana, Yerawada (14.67 km, Corridor 2).
