NMRC approves revised DPR for Noida Sector 51-Knowledge Park V Metro Project and potential interchange at Noida Sector 61

On February 5, 2024, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) approved the revised detailed project report (DPR) for Noida Sector 51-Knowledge Park V Metro Project. The DPR will be sent to the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP) and Union Government for its approval. Besides, Noida Sector 61 station is likely to developed as an interchange between the Aqua Line and Blue Line of Delhi Metro. The project involves development of 17.43 km long metro rail network connecting Noida Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V in Uttar Pradesh at an estimated cost of Rs 29.92 billion. A total of 11 stations are planned under the project.
