The construction work on the Keelakalkandar Kottai STP has been completed in Tamil Nadu. The scope of the project included the construction of a 37 mld STP which will treat wastewater discharged by two of the six sewage zones for Rs 530 million. The treated water will be released in Uyyakondan canal. It will serve six wards surrounding Kattur and Thiruverumbur covering about 4,000 residential and commercial sewage connections. It has been funded by the Asian Development Bank.
