A 700 kWp solar power plant has been installed on the Sabarmati multimodal transit hub under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR project in Ahmedabad. National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has become the first company to receive approval for non-metering in RESCO mode, along with registration from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency for the project. Around 1 MUs of green energy will be generated by the solar plant every year, with no expenditure on maintenance and a 25-year investment from NHSRCL.
