Ministry of Power and New and Renewable Energy releases third edition of consumer service ratings of discoms

The Ministry of Power and New and Renewable Energy has released third edition of consumer service ratings of discoms covering performance of discoms for 2022-23. As per the Ratings, Noida Power Company Limited (Uttar Pradesh), BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (Delhi), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (Delhi) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Delhi) have achieved A+ (highest) ranking among all the 62 rated discoms in the country. The ministry also released Electricity Distribution Network Planning Criteria formulated by Central Electricity Authority, encompassing different aspects of distribution planning processes at sub-transmission and distribution level including introduction of smart technologies.
