The Meerut Municipal Corporation has proposed the construction of an STP at Rakshapuram in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh under the National Mission for Clean Ganga. The scope of work includes the construction of 65 million litres per day (mld) STP to treat water from Odien Nala and Abu Nala -2. The land for the project will be provided by Meerut Municipal Corporation.
