As of December 2023, Indian Railways (IR) has deployed a total of 216.36 megawatts (MW) of solar power. While during 2023, around 71.37 MW was installed which includes 21.37 MW from rooftop based solar plants along with 50 MW from land based solar plants. Besides, the total installed capacity of wind power till 2023 is 103.4 MW with 92.9 MW installed in the period 2014-23.
