The Jharkhand government has approved 25 acres of land for runway expansion at Bodo airport. Funds worth Rs 607.5 million have also been approved for the same. The project involves the expansion of the runway to 6,000 feet from the existing 299.6 feet at the airport in Giridih city of Jharkhand.
