Notably, ONGC has commenced the production of crude oil from cluster-II fields in KG-DWN-98/2 (KG-D5) block in the Bay of Bengal. The oil production is likely to reach 45,000 barrels per day by June 2024, while over 10 mscmd gas output is expected.
