The New Development Bank (NDB) is set to finance rural road projects in Gujarat with an earmarked budget of Rs 400 billion. The board of directors at NDB has approved a loan for the enhancement of approximately 13,500 km of rural roads in Gujarat under the Mukhya Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. These roads will incorporate innovative and climate-resilient designs, including nature-based solutions and bio-engineering measures.
