The Indian Telecommunications Bill, 2023 has received the President’s assent. The bill was introduced by the government in the lower house of Parliament on December 18, 2023, and was cleared by the Lok Sabha on December 20, 2023, and by the Rajya Sabha on December 21, 2023.
